Disney Pixar's BRAVE! In theaters NOW! My review of this movie ...

When my youngest daughter first told me she wanted to go see BRAVE by Disney, I really wasn?t sure what the movie was. ?I didn?t know if it was people, or anime, or cartoon, no idea. ?Then I read up on it, and decided, ?eh, seems like something ok enough to hang out with my kid with? so my hubs met us after work one day, and we went. ?Although it?s shown in 3D, as well as 2D, we selected 2D so no glasses were needed (which, btw, with my astigmatism and glaucoma issues, I was thrilled that was the one she chose, lol). ?First, let me tell you about the movie, THEN I?ll tell you my thoughts on it?

Set in the rugged and mysterious Highlands of Scotland, Disney?Pixar?s ?Brave? follows the heroic journey of Merida (voice of Kelly Macdonald), a skilled archer and headstrong daughter of King Fergus (voice of Billy Connolly) and Queen Elinor (voice of Emma Thompson). Determined to change her fate, Merida defies an age-old custom sacred to the unruly and uproarious lords of the land: massive Lord MacGuffin (voice of Kevin McKidd), surly Lord Macintosh (voice of Craig Ferguson) andcantankerous Lord Dingwall (voice of Robbie Coltrane), unleashing chaos in the kingdom. When she turns to an eccentric Witch (voice of Julie Walters), she is granted an ill-fated wish and the ensuing peril forces Merida to harness all of her resources?including her mischievous triplet brothers?to undo a beastly curse and discover the meaning of true bravery. Directed by Mark Andrews and Brenda Chapman, and produced by Katherine Sarafian, ?Brave? is a grand adventure full of heart, memorable characters and signature Pixar humor.

Opened in theaters on June 22, 2012, in Disney Digital 3D in select theaters.

I wish this clip also showed her horse, he?s HILARIOUS, lol has such a fun disposition and mannerisms, lol ?This movie is one for the entire family, not just kids, truly. ?It?s easy to follow, and even though it seemed like it took 15 min or so for the story plot to settle in and get figured out, once the turning point hit, it was non-stop fun and action that we loved. ?We laughed a LOT at the antics of Merida and her horse, AND her 3 little brothers?along with many of the other characters. ?It?s one that?s not just for renting, I plan to buy it for our movie library when it comes out.
